Baked Cabbage Recipe Simple and Flavorful Dish
Ingredients
- 1 medium green cabbage, cut into wedges
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cabbage wedges to the bowl, and toss gently until each wedge is well-coated with the seasoned oil mixture.
- Arrange the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cut sides facing down.
- If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the wedges for an extra savory flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cabbage is golden brown and crispy around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
