Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 8 mini slider buns
  • as needed lettuce leaves for garnish
  • as needed sliced cucumbers for topping
  • as needed sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Panko breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about the size of your slider buns.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth. Adjust the amount of sriracha depending on how spicy you want the sauce.
  5. Toast the slider buns lightly on the pan or in a toaster. Spread a generous layer of Bang Bang sauce on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a piece of cooked chicken patty, a few lettuce leaves, and pickled cucumber slices.
  6. Drizzle a little more Bang Bang sauce on top, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and cap with the top half of the buns.
  7. Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve with extra Bang Bang sauce on the side for dipping.

💡 Chef's Notes

Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
