Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (13.8 oz)
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • as needed ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and creamy.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into 3-inch squares. This should yield about 12-16 squares.
  5. Place a generous spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball.
  6. Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Allow the buffalo chicken bombs to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

💡 Chef's Notes

Adjust the buffalo sauce based on heat preference.
