Buffalo Chicken Bombs Recipe: A Flavorful Comfort Food Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (13.8 oz)
- 0.25 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- as needed ranch or blue cheese dressing (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated and creamy.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
- Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into 3-inch squares. This should yield about 12-16 squares.
- Place a generous spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball.
- Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow the buffalo chicken bombs to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
