Buffalo Honey Mustard Chicken Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joints and tips removed
- 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
- 0.25 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- optional fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until they are thoroughly coated.
- Spread the wings out in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the wings are crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
- While the wings are baking, whisk together the buffalo sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard in a medium bowl until well blended.
- Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the honey mustard sauce over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce.
- Return the coated wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
