Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joints and tips removed
  • 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until they are thoroughly coated.
  3. Spread the wings out in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the wings are crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  4. While the wings are baking, whisk together the buffalo sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard in a medium bowl until well blended.
  5. Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the honey mustard sauce over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce.
  6. Return the coated wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
