Buffalo Ranch Chicken Skewers Recipe: A Flavorful Delight for Any Gathering
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 0.25 cup buffalo sauce
- 0.25 cup ranch dressing, plus extra for dipping
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
- fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and thread the cubes onto the skewers, leaving some space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has grill marks (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the skewers with extra ranch dressing on the side for dipping and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for a pop of color.
