- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 zest of 1 lemon
- 1 clove garlic, halved
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush one side of each slice with olive oil.
- Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- While the bread is still warm, rub the cut side of the garlic clove on the toasted side of the baguette slices for a light garlic flavor.
- In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to combine and let sit for 5-10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- On each toasted baguette slice, add a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture.
- Tear the burrata into smaller pieces and place on top of the tomato mixture. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a touch of sweetness.
- Optionally, sprinkle additional salt and freshly cracked pepper over the top for enhanced flavor.
- Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and enjoy while the bread is still warm.
