Cake Mix Brownies Easy and Delicious Recipe Guide
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 0.5 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans, optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully blended and smooth.
- Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder and salt into the cake mixture, stirring until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, using a spatula to spread it evenly into the corners.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once completely cooled, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
💡 Chef's Notes
Stack the brownies neatly on a serving platter, and consider garnishing with fresh mint leaves or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for a delightful finish.
