Cheesy Bacon and Green Onion Roll Ups Delightful Snack
Ingredients
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 0.5 cup fresh green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika (optional for a smoky flavor)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Lay each flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of the cheese and bacon mixture evenly across the surface of each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll up each tortilla tightly into a log shape. Repeat until all tortillas are filled and rolled.
- Once rolled, you can wrap each roll in plastic wrap for 30 minutes in the fridge to firm up (optional but recommended for easier slicing).
- After chilling, remove the plastic wrap and slice each roll into approximately 1-inch pieces. Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter.
- Optionally, you can drizzle a bit of olive oil and sprinkle some extra green onions over the top for garnish before serving.
💡 Chef's Notes
