Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • as needed cooking spray or olive oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes to let the flavors meld. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Once the beef mixture is slightly cooled, add both the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until well combined.
  5. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly using your hands or a rolling pin.
  6. Place a generous tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch to seal tightly, ensuring no filling escapes.
  7. Place the biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Once out of the oven, let them sit for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
