Cheesy Beefy Roll-Ups Recipe for Easy Dinner Delight
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 8 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
- 1 cup spinach, lightly chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- for cooking olive oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef with cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Take a tortilla and lay it flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture into the center, and sprinkle some chopped spinach on top.
- Roll the tortilla tightly from one end, tucking in the sides as you go to secure the filling. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil and heat over medium heat. Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Once browned, remove the roll-ups from the skillet and let them cool slightly before slicing each roll-up into 2-3 pieces.
💡 Chef's Notes
Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve with a side of marinara sauce or sour cream for dipping.
