Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps Flavorful and Easy Meal
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, grilled and sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
- 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- for serving sour cream or Greek yogurt
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grilled chicken slices, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is coated evenly.
- Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Place a generous portion of the cheesy chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Add a handful of fresh spinach leaves and some diced tomatoes on top of the chicken mixture. If desired, sprinkle some chopped cilantro over the ingredients.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up to create a wrap.
- Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the wrapped tortillas seam side down, and toast for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove the wraps from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before cutting them in half.
