Cheesy Jalapeño Popper Bites Simple Flavorful Snack
Ingredients
- 12 pieces fresh jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup crumbled bacon (cooked)
- 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Carefully spoon the cheese mixture into each halved jalapeño, filling them generously.
- In a separate bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs with olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the filled jalapeños, making sure to cover them well for a crispy top.
- Place the prepared jalapeño poppers on the lined baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
