Cheesy Taco Sticks Easy and Flavorful Snack Idea
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef (or turkey) until fully browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and black olives. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into four rectangles (press the seams together to seal).
- On each rectangle, place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and a few chopped green onions.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a stick shape and pinch the edges to seal them.
- Place the cheesy taco sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the top of each stick for a golden-brown finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
