Cheesy Zucchini Breadsticks Easy and Tasty Snack
Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchinis, grated and excess moisture squeezed out
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 cup almond flour (or regular flour)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- to taste salt and pepper
- for dipping Marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated zucchini, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, eggs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a rectangle that is about 1/2 inch thick. Smooth out the surface with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the bread into sticks.
- For extra cheesy goodness, sprinkle a little more mozzarella on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
