Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf Italian bread
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  3. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise, creating two long pieces.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
  5. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on the cut sides of the bread.
  6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  7. Evenly distribute the chicken and Alfredo mixture on the garlic buttered sides of the bread.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread turn golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice into individual pieces.
  10. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the stuffed garlic bread on a large wooden board or platter. You can also drizzle some extra Alfredo sauce over the top and serve with a side salad for a complete meal. Enjoy!
