Chocolate Covered Banana Bites Easy and Tasty Treat
Ingredients
- 2 pieces ripe bananas
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 0.5 cup crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts)

Instructions
- Peel the bananas and cut them into bite-sized chunks (about 1-inch pieces).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the banana pieces in a single layer.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and melted (about 1-2 minutes).
- Dip each banana piece into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Use a fork to lift it out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the chocolate-covered banana bites back onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the crushed nuts over the chocolate while it’s still wet, and add a tiny pinch of sea salt on top for extra flavor.
- Once all the banana pieces are coated and garnished, place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1 hour or until the chocolate is fully set.
