Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread Delightful Bake
Ingredients
- 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
- 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)
- 0.25 cup chopped peanuts (optional, for added crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and peanut butter, mixing until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the banana mixture, stirring until well blended.
- Crack the eggs into the mixture and pour in the vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
- Carefully fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts if using, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
