Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Ice Cream Delightful Treat
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency (usually about 20-25 minutes).
- While the ice cream is churning, gently melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Once the ice cream is churned, transfer half of it into a freezer-safe container. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate and half of the peanut butter over the ice cream, then use a knife or skewer to swirl it gently.
- Add the remaining ice cream on top, followed by the remaining chocolate and peanut butter, swirling again for a marbled effect. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for added crunch.
- Cover the container tightly and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm before serving.
💡 Chef's Notes
For best results, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
