Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (about 8 rolls)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk (whole or almond)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0 optional maple syrup, powdered sugar, or whipped cream for serving
  • 0 optional crushed nuts or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.
  4. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet and pour the egg mixture over the top. Gently stir to coat the cinnamon roll pieces in the mixture.
  6. Allow the mixture to cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rolls begin to brown on the edges but are not fully cooked.
  7. Transfer the skillet mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading the pieces out evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Serve warm topped with maple syrup, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, or a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with crushed nuts or sprinkles for an extra festive touch.
