Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (about 8 rolls)
- 3 large eggs
- 0.5 cup milk (whole or almond)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 0 optional maple syrup, powdered sugar, or whipped cream for serving
- 0 optional crushed nuts or sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet and pour the egg mixture over the top. Gently stir to coat the cinnamon roll pieces in the mixture.
- Allow the mixture to cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rolls begin to brown on the edges but are not fully cooked.
- Transfer the skillet mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading the pieces out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm topped with maple syrup, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, or a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with crushed nuts or sprinkles for an extra festive touch.
