Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (such as Pillsbury)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt
  • to taste powdered sugar, for dusting
  • as needed butter, for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt until well blended.
  4. Add the cut cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture and gently stir to coat each piece evenly.
  5. Using a spoon or your hands, place the coated cinnamon roll pieces into the greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bites are puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  8. Carefully use a fork to loosen the edges and remove the bites from the muffin tin.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with extra maple syrup if desired before serving.
