Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a medium-sized baking tray or pizza stone with olive oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.
  3. Gradually add the milk and olive oil to the dry ingredients and stir until a thick batter forms.
  4. Pour the batter into the greased baking tray, spreading it evenly to cover the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top of the batter, ensuring an even layer.
  6. Spoon the pizza sauce over the cheese, spreading it out gently to avoid disturbing the cheese layer.
  7. Arrange the pepperoni slices, bell peppers, and black olives on top of the sauce, adding any additional toppings you prefer.
  8. Sprinkle the dried oregano and red pepper flakes over everything for an extra kick.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  10. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving for a vibrant touch.
