Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Easy and Flavorful Meal
Ingredients
- 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 piece bell pepper (red or yellow), diced
- 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Begin by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing it with a drizzle of olive oil to prevent sticking.
- In a bowl, toss the diced chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, coating them evenly.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth. Bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture, stirring until melted and creamy. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Finally, add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it with the sauce until well combined and heated through.
