Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced
  • for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the seasoned chicken for added flavor and moisture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
