Easy Banana Cobbler Simple and Delicious Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pieces ripe bananas, sliced
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 serving ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced bananas with brown sugar and cinnamon until well coated. Spread them evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, melted butter, vanilla extract, milk, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well blended. You want a thick batter consistency.
- Pour the batter over the bananas in the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
