Easy Cowboy Butter Chicken Flavorful Grilled Delight
Ingredients
- 4 pieces chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- as needed fresh lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, oregano, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Take each chicken breast and generously coat it with the cowboy butter mixture, reserving some for basting while cooking.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on the hot grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While grilling, baste the chicken with the reserved cowboy butter mixture to enhance flavor and keep it moist.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the chicken with fresh lemon wedges on the side for added brightness.
