Flavorful Chicken Crescent Rolls Easy and Quick Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent triangle towards the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Arrange the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
