French Dip Sliders Flavorful and Easy to Make Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 mini slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 0.5 cup caramelized onions (1 large onion, sliced and cooked in olive oil until golden)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh thyme leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Heat over medium until warmed through. This will be the dipping sauce.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, lightly toast the slider buns until just browned. Set aside.
- On the bottom half of each slider bun, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard.
- Layer the thinly sliced roast beef on top of the mustard, followed by a generous helping of caramelized onions and shredded Swiss cheese.
- Place the top half of the slider buns on the sandwiches.
- Transfer the assembled sliders to a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese and slightly crisp the tops.
- Once out of the oven, cut the sliders apart and serve immediately with the warm dipping sauce on the side.
- Garnish with fresh thyme leaves for an aromatic touch.
