Garlic Butter Baked Scallops Flavorful and Easy Dish
Ingredients
- 1 pound sea scallops, cleaned and patted dry
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes

- 0.25 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a garlic butter sauce.
- Arrange the scallops in a single layer in a baking dish, preferably a shallow one for even cooking.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops, ensuring each scallop is well-coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top of the scallops for a crunchy finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool briefly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.
