Garlic Butter Baked Scallops Savory Seafood Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh scallops, cleaned
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter sauce.
- Place the cleaned scallops in the greased baking dish, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer.
- Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the scallops, making sure each scallop is well coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the scallops, followed by the remaining garlic butter sauce to moisten them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are cooked through and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the scallops.
