Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 unit zest of lemon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried Italian herbs. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, add the lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon juice for a fresh burst of flavor. Stir to combine and warm for another minute.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
