Ingredients

  • 4 pieces lobster tails, thawed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Use kitchen shears to carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the middle, stopping just before the tail fan.
  3. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the lobster meat, and slightly lift the meat above the shell for a beautiful presentation.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat, making sure to get some into the shell for flavor.
  7. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet, and drizzle any remaining garlic butter over them.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Optionally, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes for a nice golden top.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  10. Serve the lobster tails with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.

💡 Chef's Notes

For a golden top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
