Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb tenderloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- for garnish fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Do not overcrowd the pan; you may need to do this in batches. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burned.
- Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Allow it to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and incorporated, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the seared steak bites back into the skillet, coating them well with the creamy Parmesan sauce. Cook together for an additional minute to heat the steak through.
- Transfer the garlic butter steak bites to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining sauce. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
💡 Chef's Notes
Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the creamy sauce.
