Garlic Parmesan Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs Plentiful Treat
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- as needed fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, chopped bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle on a lightly floured surface to create a base for the filling.
- Gather about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture and place it in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch them together to seal securely, forming a ball. Make sure it’s tightly sealed to prevent any filling from escaping.
- Place the filled balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the grated Parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the biscuit bombs for flavor and an appealing shine.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and the biscuit is fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. Optionally, sprinkle them with additional chopped parsley for a touch of color and freshness.
