Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs Savory Flavor Delight
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 can (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined but do not overwork the meat.
- Using your hands, form small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the meat is browned and cooked through. Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cheesy filling. In another bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Mix together until well incorporated.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual pieces. Flatten each piece into a round disc (about 4 inches in diameter).
- Place about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture on the center of each biscuit dough disc. Top with one meatball. Carefully fold the dough over the filling to create a sealed ball, pinching the edges to ensure it's tightly closed.
- Place the stuffed dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
