Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 can (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined but do not overwork the meat.
  3. Using your hands, form small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the meat is browned and cooked through. Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  4. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cheesy filling. In another bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Mix together until well incorporated.
  5. Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual pieces. Flatten each piece into a round disc (about 4 inches in diameter).
  6. Place about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture on the center of each biscuit dough disc. Top with one meatball. Carefully fold the dough over the filling to create a sealed ball, pinching the edges to ensure it's tightly closed.
  7. Place the stuffed dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
