Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers Flavorful Grill Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 0.25 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- to taste Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the cubed chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between pieces for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
- Once done, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.
💡 Chef's Notes
Serve the skewers on a wooden board or platter, drizzled with any leftover marinade and decorate with lemon wedges and parsley for a lively touch.
