Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli Simple and Tasty Dish
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 unit zest of lemon
- 1 unit juice of lemon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets and minced garlic.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the broccoli and garlic, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss to coat well.
- Spread the broccoli mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the roasted broccoli with grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss gently to combine and allow the cheese to melt slightly.
