Greek Yogurt Berry Bark Refreshing and Healthy Treat
Ingredients
- 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 0.25 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 0.25 cup granola
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- a pinch sea salt
Instructions
- Begin by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving enough overhang on the sides to easily lift the bark out later.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey (or maple syrup). Stir well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Scatter the mixed berries over the yogurt layer, pressing them in slightly to ensure they adhere.
- Sprinkle the granola and chia seeds (if using) evenly across the top. Add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 3-4 hours or until the yogurt is completely frozen.
- Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer and lift it out of the baking sheet using the parchment overhang.
- Break the bark into pieces using your hands or a sharp knife.
💡 Chef's Notes
