Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • for grilling Olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form the beef mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preferred doneness, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. While the patties are cooking, warm the flour tortillas on a separate skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. On each tortilla, layer a grilled cheeseburger patty, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  7. Wrap the tortillas tightly around the fillings, folding the sides in to secure everything.
  8. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and grill the wraps for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from heat and let cool for a minute before slicing each wrap in half for easier handling.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the wraps on a wooden board or platter, garnished with extra pickles and a small bowl of ketchup and mustard for dipping.
