Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the honey, melted butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
  2. Add the salmon cubes to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place the pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  5. Pour any remaining marinade over the salmon bites.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. For an extra caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  8. Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve the glazed salmon bites on a platter with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of additional parsley. Drizzle some of the leftover glaze from the pan on top for added visual appeal and flavor.
