Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the corn kernels off the cob using a sharp knife. Alternatively, you can use frozen corn kernels, thawed.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the corn kernels to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is tender and slightly charred.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the corn and toss to combine, allowing the sweetness to coat the corn evenly.
  5. Season the corn with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir well to incorporate all the flavors.
  6. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the corn to caramelize slightly with the honey and spices.
  7. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.

💡 Chef's Notes

Fresh corn is recommended, but frozen corn can be used as an alternative.
