Honey Butter Skillet Corn Flavorful and Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter
- 0.25 cup honey
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Start by cutting the corn kernels off the cob using a sharp knife. Alternatively, you can use frozen corn kernels, thawed.
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the corn kernels to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is tender and slightly charred.
- Drizzle the honey over the corn and toss to combine, allowing the sweetness to coat the corn evenly.
- Season the corn with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir well to incorporate all the flavors.
- Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the corn to caramelize slightly with the honey and spices.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
💡 Chef's Notes
Fresh corn is recommended, but frozen corn can be used as an alternative.
