Honey Butter Skillet Corn Tasty Summer Side Dish
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or 2 cans of corn, drained)
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter
- 0.25 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.
- Stir in the honey, mixing well until it is fully incorporated into the butter.
- Add the fresh corn kernels to the skillet, stirring to coat them evenly with the honey butter mixture.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir well to combine all flavors.
- Cook the corn mixture for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly caramelized.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Once done, remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
💡 Chef's Notes
Optional cayenne pepper adds a nice kick.
