Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or 2 cans of corn, drained)
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.
  2. Stir in the honey, mixing well until it is fully incorporated into the butter.
  3. Add the fresh corn kernels to the skillet, stirring to coat them evenly with the honey butter mixture.
  4. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir well to combine all flavors.
  5. Cook the corn mixture for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Once done, remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
