Honey Garlic Glazed Meatballs Simple and Tasty Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 0.5 cup honey
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and lightly golden on the outside.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Once simmering, stir in the cornstarch mixture. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the meatballs and toss until they are well coated.
- Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving platter.
💡 Chef's Notes
For extra flavor, let the meatballs marinate in the sauce for a few minutes before serving.
