Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Bites Savory Delight Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes
- 0.25 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium, if preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 pieces green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, gently tossing to ensure all pieces are coated. Allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, remove the salmon from the marinade (reserve the marinade for later) and add the salmon bites to the skillet.
- Cook the salmon for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the skillet, working in batches if necessary.
- After the salmon is cooked, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if using.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
