Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the honey, olive oil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Whisk until well blended.
  3. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss them in the honey-garlic mixture until they are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
