Honey Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts Tasty Side Dish
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the honey, olive oil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Whisk until well blended.
- Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss them in the honey-garlic mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a serving dish.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
