Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows gently until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Press a few extra chocolate chips and mini marshmallows on top of each cookie for a visually appealing finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
