Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package mini phyllo pastry cups (15 cups)
  • 0 Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, crumbling it as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, thawed corn, chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Place the mini phyllo pastry cups on a baking sheet.
  5. Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, fill each pastry cup generously with the sausage and cheese mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the pastry cups are golden and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley.
