Jalapeño Popper Dip Tasty and Easy Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 to 6 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 0.25 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- to taste fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese until evenly distributed.
- Add the chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top for added crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving for a pop of color.
