Kielbasa & Apple Skillet Delight: A Savory and Sweet Culinary Experience
Ingredients
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced into half-moons
- 2 medium apples (Gala or Honeycrisp), cored and sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg

- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced kielbasa to the skillet and sauté until it starts to brown, approximately 4-5 minutes.
- Add the sliced onion and garlic to the skillet. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in the apple slices and sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the apples are tender but not mushy.
- Drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the mixture and cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
