Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.
- Add the trimmed asparagus to the bowl and toss until the asparagus is evenly coated with the lemon-garlic mixture.
- Arrange the coated asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy. The exact cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the asparagus.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute.
