Mango-Lime Shrimp Skewers Flavorful Grilled Delight
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 whole ripe mango, diced into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 whole zest of lime
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- as needed skewers (metal or soaked wooden ones)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the lime juice, lime zest, honey, ground cumin, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- While the shrimp marinate, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent them from burning.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp and mango cubes onto the skewers, alternating between shrimp and mango for a colorful presentation.
- Grill the skewers for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the mango has grill marks.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
